Hello, Steam gals! I hope you enjoyed Spring Break I am missing our meetings and you all!

Let us use this quarantine as an opportunity for creativity! When put in a difficult situation, some are inspired to create a novel or ingenious solution. Think ahead to ideas for next year's Smart tank competition. What great new product would you create? Can you think of something you want or need that has not been invented yet? You could start a Steam gal journal with your ideas and sketches.

Some great inventions have been inspired during times like these. The popular board game "Candy Land " was created during the polio outbreak and quarantine. See a condensed article here about the woman who created it to help children sick during a polio outbreak.

For the week of the 50th celebration of Earth Day( April 22nd), here is a link for recycling inspiration! But feel free to try any materials you have handy! I miss you my gals!
